In the sub-registrar’s office located in Hathras Tehsil Sadar, notes of two thousand rupees have been started for registry fee and one per cent fee during the deed. Two thousand notes were not being accepted during the deposit of registry fee in the office after the note withdrawal order from the Central Government. Because of this, the people who got the deed done here were facing trouble. Amar Ujala published the news in this regard. Taking cognizance of the matter, the administration has issued orders to accept Rs 2,000 notes here.

According to the order of the Reserve Bank of India, the note of two thousand will remain in circulation till September 30, but the people coming to the sub-registrar’s office located in Tehsil Sadar were refused to take the note of two thousand in the registry fee. A notice in this regard was also pasted on the walls of the offices by the department. Amar Ujala published this news prominently. There has been a stir in the administration after the news was published. The registrar’s office immediately rescinded the order on Tuesday morning. Deputy Registrar Sandesh Chaudhary said that on the instructions of the ADM, banks have given permission to deposit the amount in Rs 2,000 notes. Because of this, now two thousand notes are being taken again.
